My goal is to help clients achieve success in their lives by providing tools for coping with their current situations, feelings, and behaviors while maintaining a safe, warm, accepting, and trustworthy environment. I use a variety of methods and techniques to meet the personalized needs of the individual client. My areas of interest include but are not limited to grief, trauma, and loss, stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, and communication issues.

I am licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have experience working in an inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospital setting as well as a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. Prior to pursuing a career in mental health, I completed my undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information and Operations Management. After graduation, I worked the next several years in Information Technology.
